Trishaw ride was the prize for young Finlay

All aboard!!

Trishaw pilot Chris took Finlay & Mum out for a ride one Saturday. Finlay was one of the winners at Wells Rotary’s Santa Fun Run colouring competition with the trishaw ride being one of the prizes.  

As some of you may be aware the WCN trishaw is a battery-assisted rickshaw style tricycle and our aim primarily is to reach the lonely, isolated and those with memory issues or poor mobility to give them the opportunity to take a ride around our fair city of Wells.  

 The trishaw is backed by a band of 11 merry pilots who do all the pedalling and we are supported by numerous people behind the scenes who organise the rides raise funds etc to keep the project moving forward.
